Sharukh Khan Says I can do action better than romance | Chennai express trailer launch
Shah Rukh Khan seemed very happy at the trailer launch of his new film Chennai Express at IMAX, Wadala, in central Mumbai. He claimed it was a 'special moment' for the entire team, and raved about his director Rohit Shetty and co-star Deepika Padukone. "Rohit is a fantastic director," Shah Rukh said. "His work speaks volumes.
I had done a lot of intense roles and really wanted to do an action comedy. Chennai Express was the perfect film to do." Rohit has often been criticised for the over-the-top action sequences in his movies. Defending the director, SRK said, "I used to think the same. But after working with him, I think I can do action better than romance. He has a fantastic team of almost 200 people, who have worked really hard."
The action, however, came at a price. Shah Rukh injured himself while doing a stunt, and had to undergo a shoulder surgery last month. At the trailer launch, the actor wore a fashionable sling for his injured arm.

Parveen Babi: This beautiful actress had a very sad and mysterious death. She lived alone in her Juhu residence. At the age of 55 on January 20, 2005, she bid the world goodbye. She was locked inside her house for three days until the police broke open the door, there they found her body three days after her death. Bollywood Actress Jiah Khan Commits Suicide at Mumbai Residence | Jiha khan letter
Bollywood actress Jiah Khan was found hanging from the ceiling at her Juhu residence on late Monday night. The Mumbai Police said that it is suspected that the actor committed suicide, although it is not clear yet as to why she took the drastic step."After the police control received a call around 12 am, a mobile police van was rushed to the spot. She was found in an unconscious state and was rushed to Cooper hospital where she was declared dead on arrival," said an official from the Juhu police station. The official added that the reason for her drastic step is being probed and that no suicide note was found on her person or in the apartment at Sagar Sangeet building in Vile Parle (west) where she lived with her mother and sister. Her mother and sister had briefly left the residence when Khan allegedly committed suicide by making a noose from a dupatta and hanging herself from the ceiling.
Rituparno Ghosh Bengal's brave young director
Director and actor Rituparno Ghosh passed away in Kolkata. He was three months shy of his 50th birthday. Ghosh was reportedly suffering from pancreatitis. Rituparno Ghosh was born and brought up in Kolkata. He started his career in advertising and his directional debut was "Hirer Angti" (The diamond ring). He won the National film award for Best Director for his Bengali film "Abohoman."
Utsab, Titli, Chokher Bali, Raincoat, The Last Lear, etc are the names of some of his films. His last film was "Chitrangada (2012)" for which he won the special jury National Award. He hosted two celebrity chat shows, namely Ebong Rituporno on ETV Bangla and Ghosh and co. on Star Jalsha. He also was the scriptwriter of Gaaner Opare. Ghosh was suffering from pancreatic diseases and he died following a massive heart attack in his Kolkata residence at around 7:30 am on 30 May, 2013.

Varun Dhawan roped in Karan Johar's next
Varun Dhawan who has been widely appreciated for his debut film "Student of the year" has managed to bag another Dharma Production film. He will be seen playing the lead role in Karan Johar's next film which is yet to be named. Varun will be casted against a new girl which still has to be finalised. Along with a new girl Karan will also be launching a new director.
The script has been finalised. The film will be romantic comedy and Varun seem to be very excited about the project. Apart from Dharma Production, Varun is also doing a film with Balaji Motion Pictures, titled "Main Tera Hero" which is a remake of a Telugu blockbuster film, "Kandireega." Yet again he will be playing the role of musician in this film. He has also been signed by Saif Ali Khan's production house, Illuminati Films, to do a film directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film has been described as a murder thriller.

Vijender Singh's Bollywood debut is titled "Fugly"
For quite some time now, the Indian Olympic boxer Vijender Singh has expressed his keenness to get into Bollywood. Looks like he has finally bagged himself a ticket to Bollywood. He will be making his debut with a film titled "Fugly". The movie will be directed by Kabir Sadanand and produced by Grazing Goat Pictures which is owned by Akshay Kumar and Ashwin Yardi. When asked what took him so long to enter the film industry, he said he had been waiting for the right story. He wanted his debut to be a powerful entry. The movie is still in the planning stage so it is too early say anything yet, but he definitely seems excited about the project. He also added that he wouldn't quit boxing for anything. Instead he would be juggling the two careers together just like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.
Well that's a bold comparison Vijender, let's hope you get as successful as the two of them.

Vidya Balan and Sonam Kapoor were spotted wearing nose ring at Cannes, which looked ravishing with their traditional Indian saris. Vidya was spotted at the premiere of "Jeune & Jolie" wearing a lovely peach sari and red blouse designed by her favourite designer Sayasachi Mukherjee. She wore a golden nose ring to go with it.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2 Trailer | Akshay Kumar | Imran Khan | Sonakshi Sinha
The trailer of "Once Upon a time in Mumbai Again" is out and it's simply rocking. The screen presence of Shoaib Khan a don in Mumbai played by Akshay Kumar is powerful but the character of Aslam played by Imran Khan is no less.
The trailer indicates that the story revolves around three characters Akshay, Imran and their lady love Sonakshi Sinha who plays the role of an innocent starlet, Yasmin. It's a love triangle and we need to see the movie to know which of the two Shoaib or Aslam manage to get their love in the end.
There will be obvious comparison between the original "Once upon a Time in Mumbai" and its sequel but it's pretty clear from the trailer that the basic plot of the movie is quite different from the original.
The movie is direct by Milan Lutria who has also directed the original film.
Produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, 'Once upon a Time in Mumbai Again' is slated to release this Eid (August 8).

Priyanka Chopra couldn't believe her ears at what Mallika Sherawat had to say about India as a nation. Manmohan Shetty's daughter Pooja Shetty threw a party for Karan Johar who turned 41, at her Juhu residence. It was a private affair and only Karan's closest friends were invited.

Deepika Padukone slapped Shahrukh Khan on the sets of the film Chennai Express. Shahrukh fought back and inorder to stop their fight, film's director Rohit Shetty tried to interfere but he inturn got hit back. No guys, this is not a movie scene but it actually happened on the sets of the film. But there is nothing to worry as it was just some fun that Shahrukh, Deepika and Rohit decided ti indulge in.
Inorder to have some fun on the last day of their shoot, all three of them turned into wrestlers. Deepika even uploaded this video on her twitter account in which the two were captured attacking each other and Rohit Shetty. What a way to end the shoot...
Chennai Express is an upcoming 2013 Indian action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Gauri Khan under her production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. It is scheduled to release on 8th August 2013.
"Bombay Velvet" Dream Project for Anurag Kashyap
Recent reports ke anusaar, Fox Star Studios aur Anurag Kashyap ki Phantom Films "Bombay Velvet" ko co-produce kerenge. Bombay Velvet ki story ko Anurag pichle 4 saal se develop kar rehai hai. Ye story unke dil ke kaafi kareeb hai. Anurag Mumbai pe ek trioligy banana wale hai aur "Bombay Velvet" iss trilogy ki pehli film hai. Ek recent interview mai Anurahg ne kaha "'Bombay Velvet' is my first film in a trilogy about Bombay before it became a Metropolis. It's a story that has always fascinated me and we have been developing it for about four years, and I am very excited that now it's fully ready and we begin shoot this year."
Iss film ke lead role mai Ranbir Kapoor aur Anuksha Sharma ko cast kiya geya hai. Movie ki release date December 2014 fix ki geyi hai.
