D-Day hot first look Trailer | Shruti Haasan, Rishi Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Irrfan Khan, Huma Qureshi
The trailer for Nikhil Advani's "D-Day" is out and the first look is very promising. The film stars Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Shruti Haasan and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles. All the actors look real and are sure to leave an unforgettable mark in the film industry. The most promising of all is the look given to Rishi Kapoor. His character is based on the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and Rishi sports an outstanding resemblance. He is seen sporting a moustache and brown aviators absolutely like Dawood Ibrahim. The characters of Wali Khan (Irrfan Khan), Rudra Pratap Singh (Arjun Rampal), Zoya Rehman (Huma Qureshi) and Chief of R&AW Ashwini Rao (Nassar) also look promising. It is an Indian crime film co-produced by DAR motion pictures and Emmay Entertainment Private Limited. The film explores the lives of 4 unrecognised heroes from different mediums of life, who keep going with a common goal -- the capture of The Most Wanted Man in India. It explores their journey, their choices, their loss, their victory. Let's hope the movies id as good as its trailer.

I am very excited to work with Madhuri...Says Huma
It's been raining roles for the "Gangs Of Wasseypur" actress Huma Qureshi. After her bold performance in the movies she has become a thoroughly sought-after actress.
Apart from her recently released film "Ek thi Dayaan" Huma will also be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's "Dedh Ishqiya". Reports have it that she Huma has replaced Kangna Ranaut, who was supposed to be part of the film.
"It's a pleasure to be part of such an ensemble cast. I am very excited to work with Madhuri," said the actress. She has always been a fan of Madhuri, she can't believe her luck that it's just her third movie and she is already being casted with the veteran actress Madhuri Dixit. Huma admits that "there is a sense of pride, but not arrogance because there is a lot to do and a lot to learn". "I think working with Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj would be on the list of every actor. I feel blessed that as a newcomer, I am working with both of them. It is really special," the 26-year-old said. A sequel to 2010 black comedy Ishqiya, the film also stars Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi who were in the original.
Ek thi Daayan not a crowd puller
Despite good ratings, last week’s release “Ek thi Dayaan” opened poorly at the box office. The audience did not seem to be much interested in watching the movie.
Kannan Iyer’s “Ek Thi Daayan”, based on a short story by Mukul Sharma, avoids the usual set of Bollywood cliches about tanktriks and shraaps -- all that bhootiyapa, and introduces us to fear through a child’s eyes.Even thought the movie is smartly crafted and highly original in its approach, it failed to impress the audience.“The first half of the movie is really scary and quite interesting, it keeps you hooked on. But the second half is just a drag. You lose all the interest in the movie by the end of the second half” complained one of the movie goers. Looks like the climax spoiled all the fun…

Huma Qureshi denies dating Anurag Kashyap
Huma Qureshi, 26, ensures she gets what she sets her heart on. She has completed her History Honours at Gargi College and joined the theatre. Delhi University has the best theatre in the country and that's where the bug really bit her. She knew she had to move to Mumbai to in order to get into films. It is here that she was offered her first film by Anurag Kashyap in "Gangs Of Wasseypur" where her role won her critical acclaim.
Recently, rumors of Qureshi's growing relationship with Gangs of Wasseypur director Anurag Kashyap hit the tabloids and speculation has been rampant since then. It was also suggested that wife Kalki Koechlin was blissfully unaware of the situation. She denied the rumour by saying that, "No, I am not dating him and I am not going to let these stories affect my relationship with him or Kalki. My parents are fond of him and I won't stop hanging out with him or stop going to his office because of these stories. Is a married couple not allowed to be friends with a single girl? It's strange that these stories are coming in the last two months. It's a convenient way of bringing me down given that I am doing a number of roles." Now she is all set to hit the screen with her upcoming release "Ek thi Daayan" directed by Kannan Iyer.
