Mallika Sherawat who was made an overnight star for her act in the movie "Murder" by the Indian audience doesn't seem to be much proud of her country. In an interview to Variety she was quoted saying "When I experience social freedom in America, and head to India, I find it regressive towards women. It's really depressing to see that as an independent woman." Over and above that she also expressed her displeasure of staying in India. Piggy Chopra is highly offended by Mallika's remark.
