Priyanka offended by Mallika's comment on India

Priyanka Chopra couldn't believe her ears at what Mallika Sherawat had to say about India as a nation. Mallika Sherawat who was made an overnight star for her act in the movie "Murder" by the Indian audience doesn't seem to be much proud of her country. In an interview to Variety she was quoted saying "When I experience social freedom in America, and head to India, I find it regressive towards women. It's really depressing to see that as an independent woman." Over and above that she also expressed her displeasure of staying in India. Piggy Chopra is highly offended by Mallika's remark. She is absolutely disheartened to know that Mallika made such a comment on an International platform at the 66 Cannes film festival.
He a recent launch of a mobile application Piggy Chopra expressed her displeasure on Mallika's remark. She said "I think we are a progressive nation. I disagree that we are a regressive nation. We are all sitting here and talking about educating the girl child, taking our country forward. I think it's a misrepresentation of what our great nation is on the world platform."
Mallika we had not expected she an offensive remark form you, especially when the Indian audience is pretty accommodating of the bold roles that you portray on the big screen.

Sonakshi Sinha In Welcome 2

Recent reports ke anusaar,"Welcome" ke sequel mai Sonakshi Sinha ko female lead mai cast kiya geya hai. Sonakshi ko "Shootout at Wadala" ke actor, John Abraham ke opposite cast kiya geya hai.
Most of the scenes will be shot in Dubai. Ye bhi khabar mili hai ki original "Welcome" movie mai jo role Mallika Sherawat ne nibhaya tha, vo role aab "Welcome 2" mai Sunny Leoen nibhayeingi. Let's see if all the change of starcast helps the sequel to make a better mark on the box office as compared to Welcome.

Mallika Sherawat looking for Mr. Right

Guess who has joined the list of veteran actors to appear on Television...Its none other than our sex siren Mallika Sherawat. After a list of flop movies, Mallika Sherawat will be seen on television, in an upcoming reality show called "The Bachelorette India- Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika." This is the Indian version of the international series, The Bachelor, a US television dating game show.
It sounds like another version of "Rakhi Ka Swayamwar." The major difference being Rakhi was looking for a Husband in "Rakhi Ka Swayamwar" whereas Mallika will be hunting for a lover who could also become her potential husband.
"I am looking for love," she says. "I am like any other girl, who, beyond name, fame, money, wants a companion in life."The Indian version will have 30 contestants competing for Mallika's attention. The actress has been very busy for the past few weeks shooting for Dirty Politics, which sources say is based on the life of the courageous Bhanwari Devi. The role is very different from those she usually does. She has turned her focus for glamorous role to performance-oriented roles. Shooting for The Bachelorette will take place in Rajasthan. The show is likely to go on air in August.
We hope you get the man of your dreams Mallika...All the best from Bollywood Cutting.

She will be seen opposite Anupam Kher, Ashutosh Rana, Jackie Shroff and Om Puri in the film, which has been under the scanner because of the controversial subject it deals with. The sex siren will be playing Anokhi Devi in KC Bokadia's next film which is loosely based on the gang-rape victim from Rajasthan, Bhanwari Devi.
