Ranjhanaa Review | Sonam Kapoor, Dhanush, Abhay Deol

Raanjhanaa  bhi halhi mai aayi love stories ashiqui2, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani  ki queue mai shamil ho gayi hai.

We are introduced to Kundan jiska role dhanush ne kiya hai vah ek dakshin bhartiy hindu hai jo bhagwan mai bahut vishvas rakhta hai aur vah bachpan se hi padaos mai rahne vali ek muslim ladki joya sonam kapoor ko chahta hai  jo Varanasi mai rahti hai aur uske pita professor hai school ke dauran kundan hamesha joya ke sath hi ghumne phirne ki koshish karta is prakar vah apne pyar ka ijahar joya se kar deta hai  lekin joya use ghambhirta se nahi leti ek din jab kundan apne pyar ko ijahar karne ke liye apni kalai kat leta hai to joya use sabke samne gale lagha leti hai isse joya ke ghar vale naraj hote hai aur  use aghe ki padai ke liye alighad bajh diya jata hai jiske baad vo college ki padai ke liye dili chali jati hai. Dili mai uski mulaqat ek student leader akram abhay deol se hoti hai aur vo dono ek dusre ko chahne lagte hai. Is bich bindiya swara bhaskar bachpan se hi kundan ko chahti hai aur use se shadi karna chahti hai. Aath sal bad joya apne ghar Varanasi pauchati hai  kundan ek bar phir use milta hai aur apne pyar ka ijahar karta hai lekin vo mana kar deti hai kyonki vah to akram se pyar karti hai joya apne gharvalo ko apne pyar ke bare mai batati hai  aghe kya hota hai janane ke liyefilm dekhe.

Raanjhanaa has a fantastic first half. Watch it for Dhanush and Sonam's performances and some colourful one-liners and dialogues.

Come fall in love with Raanjhanaa

The official trailer of Raanjhanaa is out and it looks like it's all set to capture our hearts. Movie Aanand L Rai ne direct ki hai aur movie ke lead role mai Sonam Kapoor aur Dhanush ko chuna geya hai.

Movie ka trailer aapko Varanasi ki galiyaan mail eke jata hai and it compels you to fall in love with the characters. Although Dhanush from the Kolaveri Di's fame has a south Indian accent, uski hindi bhi itni buri nahi hai. He depicts a fun loving character that is all set to woo Sonam whom he is in love with since he was a boy and wishes to make her fall for him.

Abhay Deol, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal aur Mohammed Zeeshan bhi film mai mukhya roles mai darshaye geye hai. Abhay plays an aspiring politician jise bhi Sonam se pyaar ho jata hai. The trailer looks energetic and quite interesting. Let's hope the movie is too.

'Connected Hum Tum' to be hosted by Abhay Deol

Guess who has made an entry into the small screen. It's none other than our dimple faced boy Abhay Deol. The News is out that Abhay will be hosting a reality TV show, "Connected Hum Tum" which a show based on the lives of six women. 

Abhay will be seen give a male perspective to the female oriented show, where six different women from different walks of life and different age groups will be seen shedding their insecurities, revealing their worst mistakes, fears and hopes and sharing their joys and sorrows on world television. 

He is of the opinion that watching these six women deal with their lives will help men understand women and themselves better. When asked what took him so long to enter the small screen arena, he said is not late for TV, it's just that it didn't feature in his scheme of things. He was waiting for the right project to come his way. He seems to be very excited with the concept and wishes that audience take it in the right spirit. 

The show, Connected Hum Tum, will start from 3rd June 2013, Monday, on Zee TV.
