The movie has been titled Shuddh Desi Romance staring Parineeti Chopra and newcomer Vaani Kapoor. aur jahan shahid lead roll nibhane wale the unhe replace kia TV star-turned-Bollywood dude Sushant Singh Rajput ne. I am losing weight for Movie, not true : Parineeti Chopra

Parineeti Chopra has been on weight loss programme but she says, it's not for her upcoming movie "Hasee Toh Phasee".

There have been a lot of rumours going around about her weight loss. Most of the rumours say that she has been on a weight loss spree for her next movie which is a Karan Johar's production. But she clarifies saying that she just wants to lose as much weight as she can so that she can look good for her next film.

The 24 year old actress had to put on quite a few pounds for her bubbly role in "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl" but since her casting in Ishaqzaade, she had been trying to shed it. 

"I just wana look better" is what she has to say, "Its nothing got to do with the upcoming movie." "Hasee Toh Phasee" is scheduled to release next January. Siddharth Malhotra has been casted as the male lead for the movie.
