The much awaited film, "Lootera", is all set to hit the big screens on 5th July, 2013. It is a romantic-drama film, whose female character is based on the short story, "The Last Leaf" written by O' Henry.
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the film features Ranveer Singh opposite Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. It is the second film directed by Motwane, after critically acclaimed film Udaan. In a recent interview, Motwane said, "'Lootera' was an emotional journey during which the cast and crew faced some tough time."
"Lootera" is set in Bengal of 1950's and although its first half is a completely fresh script, it is said that its second half is partly based on "The Last Leaf".
Its awaited video song "Sawaar Loon" is out and about to capture your hearts. It is fresh romantic song which takes you back to the old days. Sonakshi is seen sporting lovely saris and gorgeous Indian look. The film is produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor, Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Bhal and the music is given by Amit Trivedi. The film soundtrack album is set to release by early June 2013.

the ending of the movie could have been on a happy note ,not a sad one with the death of VARUN.
