Salman Khan to romance Jacqueline Fernandes in KICK

The Sri Lankan beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez has been casted as a lead role in Sajid Nadiadwala's upcoming film "Kick". She will play the female lead opposite none other than our "Dabangg actor" Salman Khan. Rumour has it that Deepika was going to play the lead role but instead Jacqueline bagged it. She is very excited about working with Salman and with a hit (Race 2) behind her, she is quite confident too. She has just broken up with her beau Sajid Khan and only wants to focus on her acting career and keep herself busy. They have been in love with each other for three years. But as per a leading daily claims, the couple has finally called it quits. The shooting for the film is about to go on floor in July and is slated for a 2014 release.

John Abraham gets paid Rs 15 crore for 'Welcome' sequel?

Super hunk, John Abraham seems to be riding high these days. Not only is upcoming movie “Shootout At Wadala” the talk of the town but he also seems to one of the top paid actors of the film industry. Slowly and steadily he seems to be climbing up the ladder. Apparently John is being paid 15 crore for stepping into the shoes of Akshay Kumar for the sequel of “Welcome”. Nadiadwala wanted to make the sequel of his film since quite some time now. However when talks with Akshay Kumar fizzled out, Firoz was looking for another option. Anees and Firoz decided to cast John and they have apparently paid him Rs 15 crore for the film. Given that John’s upcoming film with Sanjay Gupta is being much talked about, it was but obvious that the actor would be commanding a price like this. From the original, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar will again star in the sequel and the makers are looking for a replacement for late actor Firoz Khan.

"Highway" to hit the screen on Dec 13

Imtiaz Ali ki next film "Highway" Dec 13 ko theatres mai release hogi. Considering that the shooting for the film started in March 2013, Sajid Nadiadwala is quite satisfied that the movie is running right on schedule for the December release. 

"Come to think of it, it was only last December that we agreed to go ahead with the film. And to start the shoot in March and then stick to the schedules despite being such a tough shoot is quite incredible," Nadiadwala said in a statement. The film ka production Sajid Nadiadwala ke naye production house White Window ne kiya hai aur co-production Imtiyaz ne. In an interview with The Telegraph Ali stated that he wasn't even thinking of A.R. Rahman to score for this film. However, after reading the script Rahman agreed to score. 

Sajid super exicited hain iss project ko leke. In a recent interview Imtiaz Ali, the director of the film stated, "Highway has been a story that has stayed with me for 15 years. There was something in it that didn't die. Usually you lose interest in a story beyond a certain point. But with Highway, there was something very subtle, yet something very influential. I intended Highway to be the first film that I ever made." Randeep Hooda aur Alia Bhatt lead roles mai cast kiye geya hai. Let's hope that the movie is as appealing as Ali's previous movies.
